Quran Recitation Muslims often strive to complete reading the Quran during Ramadan, with many making a concerted effort to do so in these final days. Each Ashra of Ramadan has a theme: the first ten days focus on mercy, the middle ten on forgiveness, and the last ten on freedom from the fire of Hell.
