Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever prayed at night the whole month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven." Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged standing for night prayer in the month of Ramadan, without imposing it on them. The Prophet (ṣ) would say: مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ َQiyam-ul-Layl or optional night prayer, also known as taraweeh and tahjjud, is one of the best ways to maximize your gains in Ramadan. The merits of this special worship are numerous. It is praised in various Quranic verses and Hadiths. What is the virtues of Qiyaam (prayer at night) during Ramadan ? Praise be to Allah. Allah's Apostle said, "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."
