Muscat: Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) in the Sultanate of Oman has announced the official date for the crescent moon sighting for the month of Ramadan in the year 1446 AH Muscat – The Ministry is calling on citizens and residents to sight the crescent moon of the holy month on Friday evening, the twenty-ninth of Sha’ban 1446 AH. In the event sighting the moon, people are requested to call the following numbers: 24694400, 24644037, 24644070, 24695551, 24644004, and 24644015.
