The announcement was made on social media, following the update from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources regarding public sector working hours. The UAE announces reduced working hours for private sector employees during Ramadan 2025, allowing workers to finish their day two hours earlier. The policy grants Dubai government employees up to three flexible working hours, provided they complete 5.5 hours from Monday to Thursday and three hours on Friday.
