In 2025, Ramadan is expected to fall on the evening of Friday 28 February, ending with Eid Al Fitr on Sunday 30 March — though the exact time depends on the sighting of the new crescent moon. Between Friday 28 February-Sunday 6 April 2025, a dazzling display of over 30,000 LED bulbs, inspired by Islamic geometric patterns and Ramadan themed lights will take over London’s Coventry Street which is just off the capital’s famous Piccadilly Circus.
