Uniting the architectural language of Bradford’s Victorian heritage with the sacred geometry of Islamic design, the Ramadan Pavilion 2025 is a striking space that resonates with the city’s diverse communities. Explore it during Ramadan in Centenary Square. Unveiled on February 15 during the Welcome Ramadan Conference 2025, it’s free to visit throughout Ramadan. The Pavilion, a double-archway structure, blends Bradford’s Victorian heritage with Islamic design, drawing from diverse architectural traditions. Bradford 2025 and Ramadan Tent Project have partnered to bring the Ramadan Festival. As part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, Centenary Square will be the home to the second ever Ramadan Pavilion, an outdoor structure celebrating the holy month and Bradford’s multifaith communities inspired by the Festival’s theme of ‘Connection’. To celebrate Ramadan, local studio Faum Architecture and artist Zarah Hussain have created a vibrant pink pavilion in Bradford, the 2025 UK City of Culture, featuring repeating arch forms that The immersive installation has been commissioned and funded by the Ramadan Tent Project (RTP) as part of its ever-growing programme of special events and Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
