One of Sydney’s most popular cultural events, Lakemba Nights during Ramadan, will return in 2025! The spectacular month-long cultural event is a vibrant, global food bazaar, which takes place during the month of Ramadan. Lakemba’s Haldon Street has transformed into 'Ramadan Nights' for the next month; a Middle Eastern and south-east Asian food bazaar with more than 70 stalls. Here are five things to try. Sydney’s world-famous Ramadan Night Markets, now known officially as Lakemba Nights, will again line Haldon Street from Thursday, February 27 to Sunday, March 30 with an exclusive collection of 60 food stalls and food trucks all ready, willing and perfectly able to help anyone break the day’s fast. Lakemba Nights during Ramadan returns to Haldon St! This year the event will run from Thursday to Sundays only , 6pm to 2am, between 27 February and 30 March. With significant crowds expected, attendees are urged to plan ahead and consider all available travel options. The 2024 Ramadan Night Markets will take over Lakemba from 6pm-3am every Thursday to Sunday from Saturday, March 9 until Monday, April 8.
