The UAE announces reduced working hours for private sector employees during Ramadan 2025, allowing workers to finish their day two hours earlier. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has officially confirmed the working hours for the private sector during Ramadan in 2025. The announcement was made on social media, following the update from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources regarding public sector working hours. The Ministry of Labour announced the working hours for Ramadan 2025 in the private sector on 27 February 2025, via its official X (formerly Twitter) account. During the holy month, private sector institutions will operate for a maximum of 36 hours per week and 6 hours per day, in accordance with the Labour Law.
