First time in Qatar during Ramadan. My question is, what to expect in terms of changes in the country? Restaurant timings, malls, Is it even ideal to be visiting during March/beginning of Ramadan? I'd very much like to spend a bit of my Ramadan in a practicing place as my last few Ramadan have been a bit dull. Can I get around without a car? My family and I will be in Doha from 3 to 7 April 2022. We've just learned that Ramadan will start on 2nd April. We did some Googling and found that most tourist attractions and restaurants and eateries will be closed. In addition eating or drinking in public is not allowed. We're going to be starting in a guesthouse with breakfast provided. There are plenty of places offering iftar in Doha this Ramadan that won’t break the bank.
