The government has rearranged the office timing for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan from 9 am to 3:30 pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations, reports UNB. The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday. However, the Bangladesh Supreme Court (SC) will fix the office timing for all courts across the country, the notification added. The holy month of Ramadan of Hizri 1446 (2025 year) of the Arabic Calendar is expected to begin on March 01, subject to sighting of the moon. According to the notification, the office timing for Ramadan will commence at 9:00am and end at 3:30pm. There will be a 15-minute break from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm for zuhr prayers while weekly holidays will be on Friday and Saturday. Currently, the regular office timing for government employees is from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
