The Federal Government of Pakistan has officially announced the office timings for government employees during the holy month of Ramadan 2025. The new schedule aims to accommodate fasting employees while ensuring the smooth functioning of public services. However, federal employees in Sharjah work four days a week; from Monday to Thursday; 7.30am to 3.30pm. Official weekend in Sharjah is for three days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Dubai The government has revised the business hours of all public, semi-government and autonomous offices for the month of Ramadan.<p>Offices will operate from 9am to 3:30pm during the month of fasting, according to a notification from the public administration ministry on Monday (February 24).</p><p> </p><p>There will be a 15-minute break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm for the Zuhr prayers.</p><p>  Federal employees to work reduced hours over holy month The Ministry said: “In accordance with the requirements and nature of their work, companies may apply flexible or remote work patterns within the limits of the daily working hours during Ramadan.” The announcement comes in implementation of Federal Decree Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations and its amendments. The government will likely reduce the office timings to 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for offices open five days a week while offices open six days a week would observe timing from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. On Friday, the working hours of federal government offices are expected to be fixed from 9:00 am to 12.30 pm. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has officially announced the working hours for government employees during the Holy Month of Ramadan this year. On Sunday, Feb. 23, FAHR confirmed in a social media post that federal government working hours will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, while operations on Ministries and federal authorities can also implement flexible, remote work schedule The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has issued a circular outlining the official working hours for employees of federal authorities during Ramadan 2025. According to the circular, ministries and federal authorities will operate from 9AM to 2:30PM from Monday to Thursday, and from 9AM to 12PM on Friday. According to the notification, the federal government offices operating for five days a week will function from 9am to 3pm. However, the offices functioning for six days a week will be open A notification issued by the Establishment Division states the offices working on five days a week will open at 9:00 am and close at 3:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. For offices operating six days a week, the Ramadan 2024 timing will be 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. All offices will open at 9:00 am till 12:30 on Fridays. According to the details, all Federal Government offices will operate from 7.30 am to 1.30 am on Monday to Thursday during the month of Ramadan 2023. According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, the working hours at the federal government institutions would be from 9 am to 3 pm five days a week.
